Establishment Clause
This is my first illustration for the Establishment Clause. The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment states that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion." This prevents the establishment of a national religion in the United States. Or, quite simply, "No U.S. Church."

More Establishment Clause
Okay, back to the First Amendment. The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment prohibits the passage of any law that favors one religion over another, religion over no religion, or no religion over religion. This means no favoring fish over Darwin fish, or the other way around. (I will eventually draw the reverse illustration as well.)

Next Project
For my next project I am going to illustrate the First Amendment with pictograms. This will be a continuation of my Ten Commandments series. I had originally planned to do the entire Bill of Rights, but I think the First Amendment has plenty to work with. Up first: The Establishment Clause.
