Creme That Egg!
Today I wanted to show my kids the 80s TV commercial for Cadbury Creme Eggs. You know, the one with the clucking rabbit. I searched YouTube, and found this clip as well. Check it out!

Letter T
I used Trix for T. "Silly Rabbit, Trix is for kids!" was number 59 on TVland's list of 100 Greatest TV Quotes and Catchphrases. Interestingly enough, Trix was the only breakfast cereal to make this list. Here is a history of the Trix Rabbit, and here is a montage of Trix commercials from the 60s to the 90s.

Retro Cereal Boxes
I was at Target today, and much to my surprise I noticed a display of vintage style boxes for Lucky Charms, Trix, and Cocoa Puffs cereals. Apparently I wasn't imagining things. According to The Dieline, General Mills is releasing vintage style boxes and t-shirts for a limited time only. This is all perfect timing for me, since I am about to draw the Trix Rabbit for T. (Via: The Retroist.)
