Alfred Hitchcock The Birds Doll(s)
Last year I wrote about the Madame Alexander Alfred Hitchcock dolls as one of my 2007 Holiday Picks. Well, I learned today that Mattel makes a Birds Doll as well. Mattel announced the Barbie Birds Doll in June 2008. I think I prefer the detail of the Madame Alexander doll (left), but I love the idea of Barbie getting her eyes pecked out. (Note: the Madame Alexander Birds Doll was released in 2006, 2 years before the Mattel doll.)

The first doll at least looks concerned. Barbie's just like, "Oh well, just another day as the Republican veep nominee."
