Circus Surprise Sherbet Bars
Does anyone remember these? They were raspberry sherbet bars that came on plastic, brightly colored animal-shaped sticks. I used to buy them at summer camp, and my sister and I collected the sticks. Anyway, I thought of them today because it was yet another half day for the NYC public schools, and I spent the afternoon in the park with my daughters and their friends. We got ice cream from the ice cream truck, and it occurred to me that the Popsicle Dora the Explorer bar pales in comparison to my memory of the Circus Surprise bar .
