Sesame Street episodes from 1969 - 1979 are now available on DVD. However, according to this article, the volumes contain this warning:
Sesame Street episodes from 1969 - 1979 are now available on DVD. However, according to this article, the volumes contain this warning: “These early ‘Sesame Street’ episodes are intended for grown-ups, and may not suit the needs of today’s preschool child.”
For the record, I would show my kids vintage Sesame Street over Elmo on any given day. But then again, my daughters were Darth Vader and Yoda for Halloween.
