Kite Festival
We went to the Kite Flight festival at the Socrates Sculpture Park today. There was little wind, and we didn't really get our kite off the ground, but it was fun anyway. Here are some highlights.

Letter V
I used Vanilly Crunch for V. I was going to draw Wilma, the Winsome White Whale for this square, but my daughter's friend Isa preferred Seadog. Apparently Seadog invented the cereal by accidentally spilling cake batter into a box of Cap'n Crunch. He was also a Sea-Spy. You can read more about Seadog here. (Thanks, Isa!)

Letter U
I drew the Kashi U U for U. I had never actually heard of Kashi U, probably because it's healthy. The giant U works well, though. Plus, the alternatives for U were Undercover Bears, which I also hadn't heard of, and Urkel-Os. Enough said.

Wikipedia!
Yesterday's featured Wikipedia article was about The Museum of Bad Art. And if you scroll way, way, down towards the bottom under History, you will see that my Studies in Digestion drawing is mentioned. This could be my proudest moment ever.
